G20 Engagement Groups call for Open and Inclusive Societies

Image: NetworkThe chairs of the Think20, together with the other G20 Engagement Groups Business20, Civil20, Labour20, Science20 and Women20, published a Joint  Statement for Open and Inclusive Societies. On the occasion of the meeting of the G20 Foreign Ministers on 16 and 17 February 2017 in Bonn, Germany, and in view of growing challenges to the international community, the Engagement Groups call upon the G20 countries to reinforce their efforts for effective multilateralism and coordination of future-orientated domestic policies that shape globalization in an inclusive way.

Axel Berger ist Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter des Forschungsprogramms "Transformation der Wirtschafts- und Sozialsysteme" am Deutschen Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE). Er leitet die G20 Policy Research Group am DIE und die T20 Task Force Handel, Investition und Steuern in den Jahren 2017 und 2018. / Axel Berger is Researcher in the research programme "Transformation of Economic and Social Systems" at the German Development Institute / Deutsches Institut für Entwicklungspolitik (DIE). He is heading the G20 Policy Research Group at DIE and leads the T20 Task Force on Trade, Investment and Tax in 2017 and 2018.
