Perspectives on the European Green Deal differ. The MGG programme and partners organised an online conference and discussed global expectations.
The Managing Global Governance (MGG) Programme, in cooperation with the Finnish Institute of International Affairs (FIIA) and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), continued its knowledge cooperation initiative on the external dimension of the European Green Deal. In the framework of an online conference entitled “Global green transformation: The EU’s perspective and global expectations”, scholars and political representatives from Brazil, China, Europe, India, Indonesia, Mexico, Russia and South Africa came together on 29 November 2021 to discuss different perspectives on ‘green leadership’ as well as the expectations of partner countries regarding the Green Deal.
The conference is part of a cooperation between the participating institutions, which has also produced a series of publications with different perspectives on the Green Deal.
